About Sullenberger Aviation Museum

Charlotte's aviation museum, renamed in 2022 for Captain Chesley Sullenberger, reopened in a new building beside Charlotte Douglas International Airport in June 2024. Its centerpiece is the Airbus A320 of US Airways Flight 1549, shown as it was recovered from the Hudson River. More than 40 aircraft fill the halls, including a DC-3, an F-14D Tomcat, a Harrier and replicas of the Wright gliders. Adult tickets are $25 plus tax. Food and drink are not allowed inside, and you may hear jets from the runways.
