About The Capital Wheel

The Capital Wheel is a 180-foot observation wheel at National Harbor, a waterfront district in Maryland just across the river from the nation's capital. Riders sit in climate-controlled cabins and can see the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol from above. The wheel sits within a 300-acre development with shops, restaurants, and riverside walkways. The site also offers a flight deck lounge, a carousel in Spirit Park, and seasonal events such as holiday visits with Santa, fireworks viewing from the top of the wheel, and special military days.
