A former railroad bridge over the Hudson River, now a long elevated pedestrian walkway linking Poughkeepsie and Highland.

This state historic park occupies a steel cantilever bridge that crosses the Hudson River between Poughkeepsie and Highland. Built in 1889 as a double track railroad crossing, it later carried the Poughkeepsie–Highland Railroad Bridge name before rail service stopped in 1974. Today visitors walk its elevated deck for river views. Two entrances, one in Highland and one in Poughkeepsie, provide access, and an elevator at Upper Landing Park in Poughkeepsie links the waterfront to the span.
