Wildwood sits in the Town of Riverhead on Long Island's north shore. Its woodland covers a high bluff above the Sound, and visitors can swim at the beach, picnic in shaded areas, use a playground, fish, hike, and cross-country ski. Campers can choose tent or trailer sites, or rent one of ten cottages that sleep two to six people. The park also offers a cooperative archery deer hunting area managed with the state environmental agency.
