About

About Middle Tennessee

Middle Tennessee centers on Nashville, where live music spills out onto Honky Tonk Highway and the Ryman Auditorium, the Mother Church of Country Music, still hosts shows. Visitors can tour the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, go backstage at the Grand Ole Opry, and see the Parthenon replica with its full-scale statue of Athena, plus historic sites such as The Hermitage and Belle Meade. About 74 miles south, Lynchburg is home to the Jack Daniel Distillery, which runs daily tours and tastings.
