About
Beatty is a small town in southern Nevada near the California border, about seven miles from the eastern entrance to Death Valley National Park. The town has been known as the gateway to Death Valley since the park's 1933 designation as a national monument. Its Chamber of Commerce lists lodging, RV sites, restaurants, and fuel stations, and nearby sites include the Rhyolite ghost town and the Goldwell Open Air Museum.
