About Las Cruces and Alamogordo

This cluster covers southern New Mexico's Mesilla Valley around Las Cruces and the Tularosa Basin around Alamogordo, with Santa Teresa and El Paso, Texas near the state line to the south. Las Cruces sits along the Rio Grande and hosts the weekly Farmers and Crafts Market downtown, while War Eagles Air Museum in nearby Santa Teresa displays vintage military aircraft. Alamogordo, about 90 miles northeast, is home to McGinn's PistachioLand, a working pistachio and wine farm with a country store.
