About Andalusia

Andalusia is the Milledgeville home where author Flannery O'Connor lived and wrote. It is operated by Georgia College & State University and is open to visitors through guided tours of the house. Guests buy tickets at the Interpretive Center, park in the new lot, and walk up to the main house. Tours of the interior run about 30 minutes, and visitors may also explore the grounds at their own pace during open hours. The site suggests allowing at least an hour for a full visit. Groups of ten or more need a reservation, and the house is not wheelchair accessible.
