About Delta Lake State Park

Delta Lake State Park covers 720 acres on a peninsula in Delta Lake, a reservoir formed in 1908 when the Mohawk River was dammed to feed the Barge Canal. Summer brings a sandy swimming beach, picnic pavilions and a campground with 101 tent, trailer and RV sites. Anglers fish from shore for trout, pike, bass and perch, and the boat launch runs from late April to late October. Cars pay $7 from late May to early September. In winter the trails are used for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
