Between Gaston St and Park Ave, Whitaker St to Drayton St · Savannah, GA
Forsyth Park covers 30 acres at the south end of Savannah's historic district, between Gaston Street and Park Avenue. The fountain at the north end was installed in 1858 and is the picture most people come for. Beyond it are walking paths, open lawns, play areas, tennis and basketball courts, a Fragrant Garden and the Civil War and Spanish-American War memorials. The park is named for Georgia Governor John Forsyth and keeps much of its 19th-century layout.
