A Monroe County park on the western shore of Irondequoit Bay, known for hiking and bay access for fishing.
Town of Irondequoit, NY
This Monroe County park sits along the west side of Irondequoit Bay. Visitors come for trails, fishing from the shoreline, and water access. The park has no developed facilities, so it keeps a natural feel. A small car-top boat launch is available for paddlers and small boats. Activities listed include cross-country skiing on ungroomed trails, geocaching, hiking and running, kayaking and canoeing, off-road cycling, and snowshoeing. Fishing is allowed when people follow state conservation rules and hold the required licenses. The park also follows a carry-in, carry-out policy, so visitors must pack out all their trash. Pets must stay on a leash, and owners must clean up after them.
