Washington Grove is an old-growth forest within Rochester, New York. The Friends of Washington Grove volunteer group works to restore it by planting native trees, shrubs, and ground cover that are in short supply there, and by removing invasive species that crowd out native plants. The group also works with the City of Rochester to maintain trails and entrances, and it finished rebuilding the Nunda Boulevard entryway in 2020. The Grove has recently joined the Old-Growth Forest Network.
