Kent Falls State Park

462 Kent Cornwall Rd · Kent, CT

Why you should go…

Kent Falls is a chain of cascades on Falls Brook that drops 250 feet in under a quarter mile, with the largest single plunge around 70 feet. You cross a covered bridge to reach the falls, then climb the Kent Falls Steps Trail, a 0.84 mile out-and-back route with viewing platforms along the way. An accessible path leads to the base, and the flow is strongest during spring snowmelt. Swimming is not allowed, but you can picnic and fish for trout.
