About Lake Wister State Park

Lake Wister State Park sits in southeast Oklahoma near the Ouachita National Forest. Visitors can camp at several areas, rent cabins, or stay in a group camp. The 7,300-acre lake supports boating, water skiing, fishing, and swimming, and the park adds a water spray park, a miniature golf course, and trails, including a 6.4-mile hiking route. Wildlife watchers and hunters also visit, and winter brings eagles to the area.
