About
Bartlesville sits in the Green Country region of northeastern Oklahoma, near the Kansas border. The city grew up around the Phillips Petroleum Company and preserves that history at the Phillips Petroleum Company Museum and the Frank Phillips Home. Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve, once Phillips's ranch retreat, holds Western and Native American art on grounds where bison and Japanese sika deer roam. Price Tower, a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed skyscraper downtown, now serves as an arts center.
