Squantz Pond State Park sits on the shoreline of a natural lake connected to Candlewood Lake, in a region where most lake frontage is privately owned. Visitors can launch boats, paddle kayaks, swim from the beach, fish for trout and walleye, and hike a loop trail with pond views. Kayak and paddleboard rentals operate on site during the warm season. Vehicle access is limited in peak summer, and the park is closed to vehicles in the off-peak months.
