About Mammoth Lakes and Visalia

This cluster covers a wide stretch of the Sierra Nevada, from Visalia and North Fork on the western, San Joaquin Valley side of the range to Bishop and Mammoth Lakes on the eastern side. Visalia's tourism office, Visit Visalia, promotes the city as a gateway to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, and the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway runs near North Fork. Fish Camp, close to Yosemite's south entrance, is home to the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad.
