This 24.5-acre city park sits on a 164-foot hill in the Brooklyn neighborhood of the same name. From the top you can see the Manhattan skyline, New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty and the hills of Staten Island and New Jersey, and it is a popular spot at sunset. The neoclassical and Art Deco pool opened in 1936 as a WPA project, and the pool and recreation center are city landmarks. There are also playgrounds, a splash pad, ball courts and a September 11 memorial grove.
