The Brazilian Grill in Hyannis: Not Just For Meat-Lovers
While the Brazilian Grill is known primarily for the amazing meat they serve tableside, this restaurant is pleasant for every taste. With their extensive buffet, there is plenty at the restaurant for even a vegetarian to fill up on and it is a wonderful stop for a family dinner or a get-together with friends because there is sure to be something pleasing to everyone's palate, from meat carved fresh at your table to plenty of fresh vegetables to sushi and more.
There is ample seating at the Brazilian Grill, from the more dimly lit downstairs to the bright and vibrant glass room.
While there are plenty of drinks to choose from, the Caipirinha is definitely one of the best. The national cocktail of Brazil, the Caipirinha is made with cachaca (a distilled spirit made with sugarcane juice), sugar, and fresh fruit (most commonly lime). Order a pitcher for the table if you are out with friends or just one to try.
Instead of ordering off a menu, diners have the option of either having just soup and salad ($10.95 at lunch, $22.95 at dinner), Brazilian buffet ($12.95 at lunch, $27.95 at dinner), or the full-experience of the Rodizio where freshly-cooked meats are brought to your table and cut fresh for you (includes the buffet and is $17.95 for lunch, $32.95 for dinner). Lunch runs from 11:30am to 4pm and dinner runs from 4pm to close.
When getting the rodizio (or not), be aware of the card on your table. It is a circular card with a green side and a red side. Green means "keep bringing meats" while red means that you are all done.
If you are planning on eating here during the busy season, it is wise to call ahead because this is a very popular restaurant on 680 Main Street in Hyannis. Their phone number is 508-771-0109.
The Brazilian Grill is a unique dining experience on the Cape and it is very worth the visit. Be sure to bring an appetite with you, because you will leave feeling pleasantly satiated.
