Cape Cod Restaurant Week
Spend an Evening Out on the Town With Great Dining Deals
Cape Cod is famous as a destination for family beach trips and frequent stops at the soft serve ice cream stand. But for busy parents who need a break from the kids, the Cape offers plenty of “grown-ups only” activities and excursions. There’s no better way to kick off your summer than experiencing Cape Cod Restaurant Week. Indulge in mouthwatering three and four course exhibition meals at affordable price. The Spring 2018 edition of Cape Cod Restaurant week is Monday, May 14 through Sunday May, 20 and features some of the best restaurants throughout the Cape.
The best part about Restaurant Week is that you will discover that Cape Cod dining options are seemingly endless—ranging from traditional Cape fare such as lobster and fresh fish, to other cuisines like Mexican, Italian, French and Japanese.
In both spring and fall of 2017, Restaurant Week participants featured extensive menus with a range of options for diners to choose from within each course. Harwich Port’s Cape Sea Grille, for example, offered pan seared lobster, seared duck breast, a house taco with a choice of halibut, scallop or braised lamb) and scrumptious desserts such as vanilla bean crème brûlée and warm chocolate bread pudding.
Those craving Mexican cuisine dined at Falmouth’s Anejo Mexican Bistro, a restaurant that prides itself on fresh local ingredients and delicious drink list. Highlights of the menu included braised chicken chili rellenos and chipotle glazed short ribs, and a caramel apple chimichanga.
Bocce Italian Grill in Wellfleet featured pappardelle with sausage, white mushrooms, arugula and white truffle as well as decadent double chocolate cake with truffle cream and fudge icing.
If the success of 2017 Spring Restaurant Week is any indication, locals and tourists alike are in for a treat again this May. It is the perfect excuse to hire a babysitter and spend a night on the town. Start the summer season by tantalizing your taste buds. Three or four course menus will be available for $25, $30 or $35.
